Spencer Cocoa is chocolate... made from cocoa beans grown, picked, fermented and dried on the island of Malekula, Vanuatu... then roasted and made into chocolate here in Mudgee, Australia.
I first travelled to Malekula in 2010 to rejuvenate a remote cocoa plantation. It was here the passion began - for the island, the locals and the amazing cocoa tree. Spencer Cocoa continues to work with the cocoa growers of Malekula to produce a better bean.
